Hi there - I’m Zack Holland.

Thanks for spending a few minutes of your valuable time checking out my writing here at Daydreamer Ventures, it means the world.

As a five-time founder, lifelong growth nerd and eternal student, I’ve bashed my head against the wall enough times to learn what not to do. I’ve made the mistakes, read the books, raised the capital, burned the bridges but most importantly - I’ve built the damn thing - all so that you can ideally avoid the bad stuff and skip right to the good parts. I genuinely believe that if all the struggle and pain that I’ve endured as a battered and beleaguered startup founder helps one single daydreamer to stop staring out of the window fantasizing of what could be, and dive into the arena of creation armed with information and perspective, it will have all been worth it.

We’ll be covering a wide range of topics, from suggestions on overcoming failure without losing your mind, to the technical steps for getting a new project off the ground. We’ll chat marketing and growth in the age of artificial intelligence through guides and tear-downs, review books (both new and classic), and deep dive into ways that we can apply ancient philosophy to today’s complex dilemmas.

I have committed to writing these essays with no AI, so you’ll have to endure my typos and run-on sentences for the sake of raw and honest dialogue - which I certainly believe to be a precious commodity in this strange digital age.
